It is rare to meet a couple these days that met the old fashioned way, through friends! Blake and Lauren kept everything about their wedding incredibly classic. Their getting ready venue was the Downing House, a very special property with a lot of family history. They were married in a gorgeous old catholic church, St. Elizabeth’s of Hungary. Then they celebrated with friends at the iconic Wellshire Golf Course. (Also known as the Wellshire Event Center, but I think that Lauren, being a golfer, appreciated the venue for it's golf course!) We spent time at each of the locations capturing the memories and the romance of the day. Here is their story in pictures!
Please leave the couple a comment at the bottom!

Small intimate backyard weddings and elopements are my absolute favorite! This wedding did not disappoint. Kelly and Blake's wedding was a great one to end a tremendously busy season! Blake's mother is a good friend of mine, so it was an absolute honor to share in this wonderful day. If you have not been to Cross Creek Ranch or their frisbee golf course, it is a fantastically beautiful property and well worth the trip down a very long dirt road. Kelly and Blake were surrounded not only by loving family and friends, but the incredible beauty of mother nature. Here is their wedding story told in photos.
