Intimate Wolcott Backyard Wedding

When your best friend offers his property as the backdrop for your wedding love story, you say “I do.”  Yvonne and Tony exchanged vows with views overlooking this incredible valley where they work, play, and have so much history.  They thought of incredible details such as the oar arbor (for Tony, check him out @coloradowhitewaterrafter), the custom “Yvonne and Tony” sunglasses, and the fun Polaroid guest book.  If there was a vibe, it was pure love.  Everyone in attendance was cheering these two on and they shed a tear while Yvonne’s son, Ollie, officiated the ceremony.  The guests were quick to make a toast and it was all-around smiles from every direction.  Here is their story in images.

This was a special one for me!  One of my fellow local businesswomen and one of my favorite yoga gurus hired me to photograph her wedding.  It was such an honor to witness this day, thank you, Yvonne and Tony!

welcome

Intimacy and adventure is what I am all about. I absolutely love families who are just fun, who are real and let it fly.  I want to see you!  They don’t mind if they get their dress dirty. They may be down for a short hike and are not afraid of getting in the water at the end of your session, you are my people. They don’t mind if things don’t go perfectly and that is just perfect.

The best parts of life are the parts that surprise us, and the best photos are usually the ones we didn’t know were coming.
