Looking for a great location for a small wedding in Vail? The Fitz at Manor Vail Lodge is a wonderful space to throw an intimate wedding. Joy and Andrey wanted to have a fun and intimate party with their family and close friends…and boy, that mission was accomplished! From a draw-dropping first look within 20 minutes of the venue to a meaningful Vail ceremony to Andrey’s sister DJing the party, this was the most incredible day. A few must-haves for the couple were: a mountain backdrop, romantics in the Betty Ford Gardens, and candids of friends at the reception. All of this was accomplished with half-day wedding photography coverage. We fit all of this in by doing the first look and mountain top photographs first, followed by the ceremony, family photos, romantics and then reception coverage. It was a perfect timeline for the perfect day!
A few other location ideas for intimate weddings:
Manor Vail Lodge – It is a great spot to stay and have your ceremony, with great access to Vail Village. $$
Sapphire Point Overlook– the downside is that your guests will have to travel to the ceremony and walk about 75 yards to the ceremony site. The upside is the views are breathtaking. $
Piney River Ranch– is another great spot to stay and have your ceremony. Plus side is the views, the downside is the drive-in. $$$
