What an incredible experience it has been getting to know Tricia, Brandon and their sweet little Bodie! A bonus in my line of work is shooting local couples with whom I can develop lasting friendships. Capturing Bodie's first days in the world and now capturing this couple's wedding has been a honor. Tricia and Brandon were married at the Chapel at Beaver Creek. Tricia's sister, Lora, was her matron of honor and Brandon's brother, Jack, was his best man, they also had a plethora of junior bridesmaids. These young girls are Brandon's nieces and they have been plotting this wedding from the beginning... eleven years ago! I am not quite sure if all of them were even born when Tricia and Brandon met. Their reception was held at the Sonnenalp Club's Harvest Restaurant. The views at the Sonnenalp are some of the best the valley has to offer. The Harvest restaurant, not only has incredible food, it also has fabulous decor and the staff is outstanding. I was treated very well by there staff, as a fellow vendor that means a lot to me! The live music was performed by Matt Garth. His solo guitar felt like a five piece band. His classic and hit songs made everyone want to get out and dance! Surrounded by their closest friends and family the party was absolutely wonderful. The toasts were hilarious and heartfelt. There was plenty of material for roasting the couple since this day was eleven years in the making! Congrats to Brandon and Tricia on finally tying the knot! ;)

When Jane contacted me she said... "After over 8 years together, we are finally tying the knot! We were in Vail last summer and saw a couple taking the gondola up at sunset for an elopement ceremony. Just them, the officiant and the photographer. And, we said, THAT is what we want to do!" They did it! It was somewhat a secret mission and surprise to everyone when they sent a sneak peek of their ceremony out to family and friends that same evening! These two know how to elope!
