Indian Chinese Irish Cultural Fusion

What’s better than one amazing wedding? Two! Maureen and Andy spent the weekend having two ceremonies – one for their Indian and Chinese heritage and one for their Irish Catholic heritage. Friday’s rehearsal dinner was a beautiful display of Indian food and cocktails overlooking Vail Ski Resort on the Four Season’s patio. Saturday afternoon they kicked off the celebrations with a Baraat, followed by a Lion’s dance. The Dragon and Lion Dance Troupe from the Asian Cultural Heritage Center were a joy to watch and a performance that guests will not forget. The celebration flowed into the evening with a customary Hindu ceremony. During the conclusion, they also had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony in honor of Maureen’s father. Their family and friends wore colorful traditional Indian wedding clothing, the colors and textures were beautiful. Before dinner, the bride and groom were entertained by their guests in a variety show. Words cannot describe how delicious and well presented the food was from Moghul Catering.

welcome

Intimacy and adventure is what I am all about. I absolutely love families who are just fun, who are real and let it fly.  I want to see you!  They don’t mind if they get their dress dirty. They may be down for a short hike and are not afraid of getting in the water at the end of your session, you are my people. They don’t mind if things don’t go perfectly and that is just perfect.

The best parts of life are the parts that surprise us, and the best photos are usually the ones we didn’t know were coming.
