Iconic Vail Elopement

Surrounded by six close friends and family, Beth and Peter exchanged vows in view of Mount Holy Cross on Julia’s Deck in the White River National Forest. Their intimate fall elopement was at the perfect time of year when the Aspen trees were peaking with their colors and were a gorgeous gold. Their original reservation for staying at a hotel in Vail got canceled, but their bad luck turned into good, when their Airbnb turned out to be so incredibly lovely.  We were able to sneak away for a few romantic photographs in front of gorgeous alpenglow at sunset, where Peter and Beth had their first dance as a married couple. It could not have been a more perfect day.

welcome

Intimacy and adventure is what I am all about. I absolutely love families who are just fun, who are real and let it fly.  I want to see you!  They don’t mind if they get their dress dirty. They may be down for a short hike and are not afraid of getting in the water at the end of your session, you are my people. They don’t mind if things don’t go perfectly and that is just perfect.

The best parts of life are the parts that surprise us, and the best photos are usually the ones we didn’t know were coming.
