Emerson came to me for her senior portraits after her cousin Hailey had a session with me last year. I love working with this amazing family. We did an extended family session last fall and we even tacked on a small family session with Emerson’s parents and sister before this. Emerson has a connection with Beaver Creek so a Beaver Creek senior session was the perfect fit for her. She was a natural and so many of her portraits are totally model worthy!
Emerson’s Beaver Creek Senior Session
Emerson will be graduating from Kent Denver this year and she is really active with her school. She is involved in so many after school activities. I was really impressed. She loves outdoor sport, working out, and art. She’s in her fourth year of advanced drawing and painting. She is an environmentalist and even testifies at the State Capitol this year to ban single-use plastics and Styrofoam! She’s also very involved in her school’s Student Leadership program and Challenge Success program that works with Stanford.
She plays lacrosse and field hockey and is in a lacrosse club that plays around the country. She’s hoping to be recruited and keep playing in college. Since lacrosse is such a big part of her life, we made sure to include it in some of her portraits. I love the strength and beauty represented in her lacrosse stick photos. It seriously blows me away how much this amazing young woman is doing.
I want you to cry happy tears when I deliver your gallery. When you look back on these photos in 20-30 years, I hope that these images are a little note to your future self about who you are today, in this very moment. I want to help create a legacy and an heirloom for your family. See more of my senior portrait work here and let’s get in touch!
