Imagine waking up at your home in Eagle, CO overlooking the hills where you would later hike to exchange vows. Let me paint the picture of Aubrey and Jonas’s wedding day. It was a bluebird Colorado day in October. Each of them had a dear friend present and Jonas’s parents were also there to share the day. Some very touching FaceTimes to siblings were made before they shared their first look. The temperature was a perfect, the last comfortable warm fall day of the season. All in attendance hiked to a gorgeous vista where the most beautiful vows were exchanged while the couple self officiated their ceremony. The reception was held on the bistro light lit patio of their home and the first dance covered their feet in paint. Each guest had a folded up piece of paper where they had scrawled some thoughts to share over a toast. This was a special one. Capturing this day was an honor for me.
