A Mountain Wedding to Remember | Megan + Jason at Maroon Bells

Megan and Jason said “I do” in one of the most breathtaking spots in Colorado—Maroon Bells. With jagged peaks rising behind them and wildflowers dotting the summer trail, it was the kind of June day you dream about.

This was Megan and Jason’s very first time visiting Maroon Bells, and what better way to experience this iconic place than with a wedding surrounded by the people who love them most? These two have a big heart for adventure and travel, so it felt especially fitting to start their marriage somewhere new and unforgettable.

One of the sweetest parts of the day? Their baby girl, Blake. She was the heart of the celebration—wrapped in hugs and kisses from aunties, grandmas, and, of course, her doting mom and dad. The way Megan and Jason looked at her (and each other) all day long? Total tearjerker.

Friends and family came from near and far to be part of this celebration. And no one left unimpressed—those views at Maroon Bells are enough to leave anyone in awe. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop and breathe it all in, and that’s exactly what we did.

After their mountaintop ceremony, they made their way back to Snowmass for a laid-back reception on a deck overlooking the ski hill. It was the perfect wind-down: casual, joyful, and full of laughter. The sun dipped low, music floated in the air, and the mountain backdrop reminded everyone why Colorado is such a special place to gather.

Megan and Jason’s day was full of connection, beauty, and those small in-between moments that make a wedding so deeply personal. I’m so honored I got to document it all.

welcome

Intimacy and adventure is what I am all about. I absolutely love families who are just fun, who are real and let it fly.  I want to see you!  They don’t mind if they get their dress dirty. They may be down for a short hike and are not afraid of getting in the water at the end of your session, you are my people. They don’t mind if things don’t go perfectly and that is just perfect.

The best parts of life are the parts that surprise us, and the best photos are usually the ones we didn’t know were coming.
