Daniel and Brittany tied the knot last week at Orchard Valley Acres in West Bend, WI. There were some really creative references to Lord of The Rings, Dungeons & Dragons and other fun pop culture icons. The bridesmaids each carried a bouquet with an individualized charm, many with Lord of the Rings shields. The groomsmen had video game characters on their boutonnieres. The barn wedding venue was full of old world, rustic character and lent itself as a beautiful backdrop for this love story. Surrounded by incredibly fun and supportive family, these two committed to a life together. Wookie performed a hilarious and touching ceremony. He used Lord of the Ring language while reading from a Dragon Master's book. During the reception, the guests roasted marsh mellows, danced and played Heads Up. We ended the night with a creative long exposure, which was all Daniel's idea! I wish these two all the best in their years together! Please leave a comment for the couple below!

If you want to see some classy Star Wars ideas for a wedding just ask Nora and Chris! During the ceremony, they even managed to work in "May the Force be With You" into a Catholic reading. They had very subtle Star Wars characters adorning their cake. One of the bridesmaids and groomsmen made their grand entrance with a light saber sword fight. It was all very well done! The day was filled with love and support of family and friends. I loved that there were (what seemed like) 30 some babies in attendance! These babes were always finding their way in front of may camera, of course! Both sets of parents have set excellent examples of marriage. It's not often these days that you attend a wedding and both sets of parents are still married and in still visibly in love. May Chris and Nora achieve the same feat of love as their parents, I wish you all the very best in the years to come!

What is better than one bride? Two. Rae and Bre’s wedding was an incredibly gorgeous affair, surrounded by love at The Wedgewood Boulder Creek. The venue was a beautiful backdrop for this wonderful celebration. It’s not every LGBTQ wedding where all the parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends come together to support the couple. This wedding was truly exceptional. Bre’s grandmother was the officiant, she was poised, funny and delivered a commanding ceremony that had me tearing up behind the lens of my camera. Bre had her stepdad walk her from the bridal suite to the aisle and her dad walk her down the aisle. Rae’s parents were ever present cuddling up on the dance floor or clinking glasses with everyone in celebration. Both dads and maid of honors gave touching toasts. The brides have the kindest friends who were cracking on the dance floor all night long. It was an absolute pleasure and an honor to capture this wedding. I can only hope that every wedding I attend this year is so meaningful.
