Being a photographer exposes you to such a variety of situations. I was incredibly honored to photograph Alison and Jason's reception as a fly on the wall. The reception was perfect from the super cute food trucks to the beautiful Denver sun. The part of the reception I enjoyed most was when Alison and her students performed. Alison has a way with her student's that I have never witnessed before, as a teacher myself that is saying a lot. I was so grateful to observe the witty banter as they played their beautiful instruments. Everyone would be laughing and chatting, then instantly Alison would count down to play and miraculously everyone would be playing beautiful music- and the witty banter would continue. I am amazed at their ability to multitask with inside jokes and playing some of the most difficult string instruments ever invented. It was a beautiful scene in City Park that many passers by stopped to enjoy. I was blown away by this beautiful moment in time.
