Once again, I am blown away by the opportunities to make connections as a photographer. Star found me through a google search, I am so appreciative of my hard working SEO guy for this connection! Star was looking for a photographer to capture some very natural and candid photographs of herself and her husband, Eagle. This photoshoot was a surprise gift for him. They wanted to get head shots for the businesses they run and some images for Eagle's potentials sponsors. Eagle is not only a small business owner, but a competition hang glider pilot. We used Keystone Resort as our backdrop for these sporty outdoor candids. I brought my partner Sarah with me on the shoot. She is such a great assistant! Sarah brings another creative eye and does wonderful work with off camera flash. The photos of the couple on the rocks and the playful photos of them pulling each other in Keystone village were both her ideas. Her collaboration is invaluable. Throughout our shoot the four of us made conversation about our interests, our vacation homes and our mutual love for the outdoors. It was a shear pleasure to work with such an interesting and accomplished couple. When else would I have met this couple from Portland? I am feeling very grateful for my business and the connections I have made throughout this journey as a photographer.
