“It doesn’t matter where you are going, it’s who you have beside you.”
Emily and Kyle were married on a gorgeous 70 degree day on top of the world at almost 13,000 feet. These Texans have a connection to this beautiful place, therefore they decided it would be an incredible backdrop for their wedding vows. There could not have been a more beautiful location to capture this important moment for Emily and Kyle.
This elopement was quite the adventure! It took us 1.5 hours to drive to the top of this pass on a jeep trail. Which was no small feat for the pregnant lady who was capturing the photographs!
I found a quote by Bishop Jeremy Taylor that I think is fitting for Emily and Kyle on their journey together in this life: “Marriage hath in it less of beauty but more of safety, than the single life; it hath more care, but less danger, it is more merry, and more sad; it is fuller of sorrows, and fuller of joys; it lies under more burdens, but it is supported by all the strengths of love and charity, and those burdens are delightful.”
I wish Emily & Kyle all the best in their next chapter together!
