Sunny winter afternoons in Eagle are perfect for a quick 6 month session. We were actually sweating during this session because 40 degrees and sunny in Colorado feels like 70 degrees when you are dressed for winter! I do make an exception for little ones in the winter and offering my mini sessions to these families. One, because it can be cold, especially if we schedule close to sunset. Two, these little ones have short attentions spans. :)
For Erienne it was... That time you surprised your husband with a trip to Beaver Creek! She also wanted to capture her family in this moment. The phrase, “They grow up so fast,” is something we hear as parents from everyone we meet. As a new parent myself, I was able to bond with this family over the break neck speed in which our kids grow up. It truly does happen so fast and we love and savor every fleeting stage, it’s heartbreakingly special. So Erienne figured why not capture her family in this moment while on vacation in this beautiful place? Here is their session!
Give me all the dancers please! There is something extraordinary about the talent that Margaux possesses. I was so glad that she was willing to bring some of her dance background to her senior portraits. No matter what your interests are, it is important to bring those elements to your senior portrait session. These images are a little note to your future self about who you are today, in this very moment.
